Today I planned an Easter Egg hunt for Kodi, Reece, my husband and my mum. Rather than just running around looking for easter eggs in random places, each person had a trail of clues to work out.
Kodi and Reece had 13 clues each while my mum and husband had 10 clues each. Can you calculate how many clues I had to think of? After writing each clue, I had to follow the trail for each player to set their clues.
Here are some examples of clues I created:
Raaaaaaaaaaid - fly spray
It is freezing in here - freezer
I am fluffy, stop stepping on me = rug in our living room
You stare at me too much (Samsung) = TV
Kilograms = bathroom scale
Electrical sweeper = vacuum
Wash, rinse, spin = washing machine
We are from Samoa, you use us when you're hot = Samoan fans (ili)
The funniest moment of the treasure hunt was when Kodi kept pressing my arm while I was busy sorting out the other players. I realised he was pressing at my arm as if I was a traffic light pedestrian button. When I asked him why he was pressing at me he said "My clue says, you press me when you finish your business". I let out a big laugh because the clue was suppose to take him to the toilet tank and not my arm.
At the end of the Easter Egg Hunt, Kodi and Reece both completed their course as well as my mum and husband. Reece won because he finished his hunt earlier than anyone else but everyone had fun. I suppose Kodi won in the entertainment category with his pressing clue.
