During the week, the students work on their arguments. Each team has a team leader and the leader works on making sure everyone is ready with their arguments by Friday. We certainly have very good debaters in Room 7.
Today's topic was 'The lockdown should be extended for another four weeks'. Viliami M's team were against the topic and Dwyane's team were for it. Both teams had very good arguments to support their stance.
Well done to this week's team leaders for our class debate. You did a great job in ensuring your team worked together and had the confidence to speak.

Debating is a great skill to learn and I am sure you all presented convincing arguments. it is so important to be able to speak confidently in front of a group of people.I wonder what your topic will be this Friday
