Today, we had our second debate. We had our first one last Friday and the students wanted to do another debate this Friday. We have decided Fridays, we will have our theme for our hangouts and a debate.
During the week, the students work on their arguments. Each team has a team leader and the leader works on making sure everyone is ready with their arguments by Friday. We certainly have very good debaters in Room 7.
Today's topic was 'The lockdown should be extended for another four weeks'. Viliami M's team were against the topic and Dwyane's team were for it. Both teams had very good arguments to support their stance.
Well done to this week's team leaders for our class debate. You did a great job in ensuring your team worked together and had the confidence to speak.
Bring on the next debate!
