Sometimes a good story just makes you want to take a long vacation with a good book. Room 7 have been writing narratives to express their creativity and the language features they learnt in Term 2. Here is Telesia's narrative. Her ideas relate to her personal interest and her passion for K Pop.

“Swishhhhh, BOOM”. The airplane was surely sick. “Probably has a cold” I murmured to myself. That is what I had said before the ‘Accident’. I should have been scared, in terror even. But I was too busy thinking about my trip around ‘South Korea’. You see, I am a traveller, and adventurer. I travel the wonderful world named Earth to seek new adventures and journeys along the way. (As well as record all my journeys). But along my adventure I get caught into some sticky jam.

…...I murmured to myself. As a person born in the 21st century I simply had to instagram a photo.

“Hashtag KOREA” my high pitched voice screeched all the way to first class.
There was an astonishing view from my seat. The sun was just setting creating a vibe of the beach. “Nothing better than a terrific view before its time for shut eye”.  ‘THUD’ is the noise which came from outside. The smell of the smoke travelled throughout the plane.
“THE PLANE IS ON FIRE” one of the passengers screamed.

I knew not to panic and to stay calm, but all of other passengers ran around the plane panicking as if there were squirrels in there underwear.  I jumped back towards my seat, with my hands covering my ears, and my legs tucked in with my knees touching my nose.

I stood up with courage and tried to convince everyone that everything was going to be okay. Of course I didn’t know that for sure but it was a way to silence the group of screaming monkeys. My hands banged on the pilots door, one bang to the door harder then the other. Pilot Mccarthy opened the door, with much force, and jumped out of the airplane with a parachute. I collapsed onto the floor panicking. My breathing level increased as I fought for air. My eyes rolled back almost going towards the sky, but my mind was jolted back into reality when a woman shook me continuously.

My eyes looked outside window.
“WE’RE GOING DOWN. EVERYONE BRACE YOURSELVES”.
The plane continued to swish left-right-left-right acting like an earthquake in the air. I ran towards the plane controls and pulled a stick looking control towards myself. The plane leant forward and everyone was shoved to the back of the plane. The plane went further to ground each second. The lower the plane went, the faster my heart pounded. “We’re going lower and lower. Everyone hold onto to something!”

CRASSHH. The plane scraped towards the concrete and flew up and down. Gas leaked and several injured. As soon as the plane touched down I flipped up and down causing my hip to twist and my leg getting stuck under a part of plane. My eyes gazed off and my stomach bled and bled. Passengers attempted to pull me out but it only made it worse.
“Go Go! The plane will explode any second now” I groaned.
I shut my eyes and was ready. Ready for what? To travel towards the high sky. From there I had passed out.

‘Dur Dur Dur’. I woke up wondering whether this was the sounds in heaven. Doctors gathered around me.
“Where am I, Heaven?” I asked confusingly.
“Haha. No. Some passengers on the plane refused to let you die there innocently. They pulled you out just in time. You’re a very lucky girl” the doctor said with a small grin.
I definitely got out of that mercifully. I shut my eyes, this time just to take a nap, and thought about how thankful I was for the people that had saved me.

Once I got out of the hospital my adventures continued. “Adventure awaits” I say with a deep dark voice. I was ready to continue on with my journey.
