We value individuality and being unique in Room 7. Here is Salote's mihi introducing who she is in Te Reo. We are proud to have Salote as one of our class members this year. She is awesome.

Healthy eating focus. At Glenbrae school we are trying to look after ourselves by learning about healthy eating. The students love to bring potato chips to school for lunch so Telesia and Davarni inquired into what is in our potato chips.They also researched the bad effects of this snack on our bodies.

What is an active learner? We have been working on what an active learner is. Through our discussions we have identified what an active learner does. Here is Telesia's drawing to show what she has understood from our discussions.

Well the holidays have finished and we are back in school. The Christmas holidays was filled with much happiness and activities. Room 7, 2018 have come back to school with eager minds to learn. We are a team of 28 this year. 26 students, one teacher (Mrs Tofa) and one teacher aide (Miss Atuahiva).

We started the year off with a focus on being active learners. This is Alex and Po's work about what an active learner is.
