Mrs Tofa has a go at a Summer Learning Journey activity

Today, Mrs Tofa completed this activity which is one of the activities for the Summer Learning Journey 2021-2022. 

It was quite fun to learn about the different names for fruit in Te Reo Māori and the sentences in Te Reo.

Year 8 Graduation 2021

It is the end of an era for our Year 8 students as they graduate from Glenbrae School and prepare to enter the various colleges they have enrolled in for 2022. We have had some fun times, challenging times and most of all memorable times at Glenbrae School. 

For most of our Class of 2021, they have been at Glenbrae School since they were Year 1. For some, they joined later on in their primary school journey. Regardless, Glenbrae School is part of their educational history. 

Congratulations to all the graduates of 2021. May 2022 be a successful year for you all as you start college. Remember the lessons you learnt while at Glenbrae school, treasure the memories and the friendships and bond you have made with your peers.

End of year prize giving

What a wonderful day to celebrate the success of all our tamariki at Glenbrae School. We are so proud of all our class members who received awards today. We hope you will keep up the good work and persevere with your learning. 

Although our parents and whanau could not be present to witness our prize giving, they were able to watch on the Facebook live. We would like to thank all our parents and whanau for supporting our learning this year. Room 7 has had a very busy year from our learning activities, fundraising, sport, trips, cultural activities, online learning during lockdown but our whanau have always been there to support us. We are grateful for you all.

To the teachers of Glenbrae school, our principal Mrs Patea, our teacher aides, office staff and everyone who has helped us along the way this year. Thank you very much.
