Holiday learning programme with Nanogirl.

Our students have been participating in a Holiday learning programme designed by Nanogirl's team. This is Dwayne's experiment with making a Xylophone.

Activity 1 - Build a Xylophone
Today I have built a Xylophone, it was very easy and fun to make.
What is a Xylophone?
A Xylophone is a type of instruments with various pitch. You can make many
beautiful melody with a Xylophone.

Here are the materials you need
  • Glasses
  • Water
  • Pencil
  • Paper
  • Tape
  • Scissors
Here is a video of me making the Xylophone
When I tested out the Xylophone, it made many pitch, low pitch, high pitch and medium pitch.
The paper Xylophone sounded good as well and also it made good pitches.

Making a Xylophone with papers and glasses were fun to make. While I was making the glass xylophone, I learnt that the more the glass aren't filled with water, the more the pitch is higher and when the glass is filled with more water, it creates a low pitch
